Open joint-stock company "Textilmach"

The beginning of the construction of the plant of textile and technological equipment.

The builders began to construct the main manufacturing building.

In April the plant started the producing of the unstandard equipment for needs of the enterprise. Electroplating tanks, work benches, tables and other things were produced. In the 2^nd half year the assembly shop began to manufacture spare parts.

The first machine, mastered by the collective of the plant was a dye vat of type B-2. 120 ps of them were produced then. After that they began to manufacture the installation for finishing of artificial fabric cloth. Also the first winding machines of type MM-48-1were assembled.

The producing of consumer goods is mastered.

In January the enterprise was given to the Machine Building Ministry of light and food industry and domestic devices USSR, and the enterprise was named as "Chemtextilmach".In December the Machine Building Ministry issued the order about the organization of manufacture of automatic weaving STB looms in the plant of "Chemtextilmach" in Cheboksary.

On the 7^th of November the assembly shop No10 assembled the first two looms STB-2-216.

On the 10^th of September the enterprise was registered by State Property Commettee as Open Joint - Stock Company on the basis of reorganization of the manufacture "Textilmach". (Registration Certificate No 550p).

Open Joint - Stock Company "Textilmach", situated in Cheboksary, is a leading manufacture among the plants producing shuttleless automatic weaving STB, STBU looms in Russian Federation and the only one producing foil metal weaving automatic looms of type STR-100M and STR-130M in Russia and in Countries of Independent States. For today more than 90 thousand of looms STB and STBU have been manufactured, more than 30 thousand of them are exported to more than 50 countries of the world.
